There were only two outings we made the first week of Max's life: to the pediatrician's office and to Erin's home studio. I can say, without a doubt, that the second outing was much more fun and relaxing! We expected fabulous photos from the work we had seen on Erin's website, but what really impressed us was the way she takes care of her clients and their babies. We felt so at home in her cozy home studio; she made us feel like pampered house guests, and treated our newborn with such love and care! Her talent is clearly two-fold, as an artist and as a caretaker and nurturer. I felt instantly comfortable watching Erin handle Max and relax him into different positions with the greatest of care and gentleness. Her love of newborns and families is translated through her work. She captured some amazing shots of our tiny boy: even one of his first smiles! We will cherish the images forever of Max in his first week. They are breathtaking, and have helped us introduce our beautiful boy to our friends and family. We hung a number of his portraits above his changing table in his room...even he can't stop staring at them!
