Happy Halloween!

What a difference one year makes! My little guy was just 6 months old last Halloween and enjoyed eating hay while visiting the pumpkin patch.  At 18 months he has grown from a baby into a little boy and he even rode one of the ponies at the pumpkin patch this year!  Every single day he gets more and more fun and we are so very thankful to have him in our lives. 20131029_001

Holiday Portrait Mini Sessions are HERE!

Our ever-popular holiday portrait mini sessions are back!  We have two dates and locations available this year - one at a gorgeous Pasadena park and one at Redondo Beach.  Many clients love the mini sessions to create a handful of beautiful images for their holiday cards and to print as holiday gifts.  These sessions usually fill up quickly, so grab your spot today by emailing erin@erinsullivanphoto.com.  If you are interested in a full custom family portrait session at the location of your choice, a few dates still remain this year. Beautiful College Graduate | Los Angeles Senior Portrait Photographer

College graduates and high school seniors are a dream for me to photograph.  I love talking to them during their session to hear about their future plans and aspirations.  They are usually so hopeful, optimistic, eager, and full of life.  Working with Courtney was refreshing and energizing - just like her!  I had the distinct pleasure of photographing her four years ago for her high school graduation, so it was a true honor to photograph her again as she graduated from Azusa Pacific University (which also happens to be my alma mater).  She is not only gorgeous, but has a tremendously big heart, which is evident in her future plans to work with a non profit organization in India for a year.  Courtney, I am absoultely certain that you will do amazing things with your life and I feel excited to have a front row seat.  All the best to you as you embark on a new adventure!

Mother's Day Portraits | Palos Verdes Family Portrait Photographer

Mother's Day is such a great reason to have family portraits taken and it was wonderful to reconnect with this family.  This was our third portrait session together, but I hadn't seen them since their youngest was just a few days old having his newborn portraits taken.  We met up in Palos Verdes on a very WINDY morning.  You can even see how windy it was in some of the portraits, but we still had such a fun time! It's probably because I have a little boy, but I love seeing little boys doting on their mamas.  It melts my heart - and you can tell that these two just adore their mother.  Thank you, Debbie, for asking me to document this special time for your family. Enjoy some of my favorite images from our time together!

What a good looking family!

I love the belly laughs that comes from tickle time!
