Zoe was such a delight to meet and photograph! She is a rising senior at Flintridge Prep, in La Canada, and has some big plans in store for her future.  In my short time with Zoe and her mom, it was clear to me that she is a pretty amazing young woman.  She is well-rounded and splits her time and energy between several interests.  Some of which include playing on the water polo team and pursuing her love of English literature.  She was one of a select number of students from all over the world that was accepted to a special pre-college summer program at Brown University.  Zoe, thanks for trusting me to document this incredible and unique time in your life.  You truly have an exciting future ahead of you as you boldly pursue your dreams.

Zoe's mom is incredibly supportive and loving to her daughter, so I wanted to grab a shot at the end of the session to celebrate their relationship and friendship.

Backyard Family Portraits - La Canada Flintridge Family Portrait Photographer

Hello friends! It's been rather quiet on the blog this winter, but I've still been shooting and planning for this new year.  I have so many portrait sessions to share, but I wanted to showcase a recent favorite of a wonderful family.  We had a casual backyard and poolside shoot that allowed for laughter and genuine smiles while we played together.  These two brothers are bright, funny, adorable, and a delight to photograph; and their parents were lovely as well!

I love getting to reconnect with my families every year and being a part of their lives.  Documenting the growth, changes, and even new additions to the family makes my work as a photographer so meaningful to me.

Introducing the Newest Addition | Santa Monica Newborn and Child Photographer

Photographing precious Miss A was delightful!  I truly enjoyed visiting with her mama and grandparents during her portrait session.  Once Miss A is a little bit older she is going to have so much fun running around after her big brother.  Seventeen months is such a busy, curious age - so I was especially pleased that we were able to grab some fun shots of her big brother.  Thank you, D Family, for warmly welcoming me into your lives and for the honor of documenting Miss A's first days at home.  It's clear that she is already so loved and adored!

I am thrilled with the resulting images from our time together, but I especially love the eye contact in the image below.  It's a rarity to get such great eye contact from a newborn baby.  Love it!

Welcome Precious Baby | Los Angeles Newborn Photographer

I had a wonderful time visiting with this sweet family again.  I first met them during their maternity portrait session and we hit it off right away.  I was so excited to meet the newest member of their family: handsome baby C!  Just like my little guy, his arrival was a bit late but definitely worth the wait.  He is so adorable and perfect!  Since the kitties were very curious about what we were up to, I loved getting to include them in a few shots.  C and A, your love for your baby boy is already clearly so strong and I am sure that you will be incredible parents.  What a lucky little guy he is to have you both!  Thank you for welcoming me into your lives and for the privilege of documenting this incredible journey you are on together.  Wishing you all the best as you enjoy snuggling your sweet baby!
